Changes to my study programme.

I wish I could say that I like my study program, but unfortunately that is not the case.  If I could I would make several changes.

The first thing I would change is the schedule, since it is very demanding, classes start very early and end very late. I would prefer to have all my classes in the morning and be able to study, rest or work in the afternoons.

The teaching methods seem appropriate to me for the courses taught at the faculty.

In general I like the framework of the career I am studying, but I would love to have an intermediate internship or, failing that, have more laboratory subjects.  This in order to gain more experience before the final practice.

Another thing that would change is the frequency with which the subjects are taught, since from the fourth semester onwards the vast mostly are annual and this causes students to fall far behind when they fail a subject. Also, this means paying more money to the University.

I like the infrastructure of my faculty, there are several spaces designated for study and the classrooms are large, have air conditioning, chairs for left-handed people and are quite bright.  On the other hand, I suggest increasing the amount of green areas and making the cafeteria larger, since the space available for lunch is not enough for the number of students there are.

Time travel to the past or future.

When I was a child I dreamed of traveling in time. The idea of ​​being able to travel to the past to change something I did or avoid some embarrassing situation I went through seemed wonderful to me.

Currently this doesn't catch my attention, because I am a person who thinks too much about everything I do and I think that if I had the opportunity to travel back in time I would try to change too many things, which could have consequences on who I am now.

On the other hand, if I traveled to the future, witnessed some important event in my life and then returned to the present, I would live waiting for that event to happen, which doesn't seem healthy to me, since I wouldn't enjoy my day-to-day.

But if I had to choose one of the two options, I would choose the second, traveling to the future, specifically to the day the lottery results are announced. Then he would return to the present to play the winning numbers. With that money I could sustain many years of my life.  I could financially support my family, take them on trips, buy property and invent to continue generating income.  Definitely the dream of many people.

My dream job.

Deciding what major I wanted to study was very difficult for me, because there were too many options, although I knew that numbers were my thing, that I couldn't imagine working in an office and that the area of science that I liked the least was biology. After thinking about it too much, I chose Chemistry, a major that I am currently studying, since it met everything I was looking for at that time.

When I graduate, I would like to start working in industries, specifically in the area of ​​quality control, either as an analytical chemist or as a laboratory head.  Although I haven't decided on what type of industry yet, for now my options are;  cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical.

I am lucky that people close to me work in drug analysis laboratories and I have been able to visit them on several occasions, so I more or less know what the ambient is like. For this type of work, different skills are needed, for example, analytical and error detection skills, organization, leadership, precision in analysis, initiative, willingness to work as a team, among many others.

Although a newly graduated chemist does not receive a very high salary, years of experience increase it considerably.

The best concert ever.

In my free time I work at concerts selling the official merchandise of the artist is performing at that moment. Because of this, in September last year I had the opportunity to attend one of the shows of Coldplay's "Music of the spheres" tour at the Estadio Nacional.

Coldplay is a British pop-rock band, with more than 20 years of career and has Chris Martin as vocalist.

The concert was quite interesting, since the focus of the tour was sustainability and inclusion. It had solar panels, a kinetic dance floor and electric bicycles to generate energy for his show's audio and lights. Also, the led bracelets used by the public were compostable. In order for people with partial hearing to have the possibility to enjoy music, vests were available that increased the intensity of the vibrations.

People of all ages were seen at the event and there was a lot joy in the atmosphere. The visual spectacle was wonderful and I found that I knew their discography better than I thought.

I don't consider myself a Coldplay fan, but after that day I have a lot of respect for him.

A country I would like to visit.

Two years ago, when I turned 18 years old, I decided to make my first alone trip abroad, and the chosen destination was Spain. I bought the plane tickets two weeks in advance, as it was very sudden decision. Because of that I think I couldn't take advantage of the travel and I would like to visit again to remedy it.

Spain is a very beautiful country that receives millions of tourist a year and this quantity doubles the number of people who live in it. For this reason it's not weird hear different lenguages and accent in its streets, something that I personality love. 

Another reasons I would like to visit again the country is for its nightlife is quite diverse. There are clubs and bars that offers a large quantity of options for all tastes.

In another matters, Spain is the fourth publishing industry in the world and 250 books are published a day, so it's the paradise of every eager reader. Definitely Spain is a country in when I would like to live.
