My dream job.

Deciding what major I wanted to study was very difficult for me, because there were too many options, although I knew that numbers were my thing, that I couldn't imagine working in an office and that the area of science that I liked the least was biology. After thinking about it too much, I chose Chemistry, a major that I am currently studying, since it met everything I was looking for at that time.

When I graduate, I would like to start working in industries, specifically in the area of quality control, either as an analytical chemist or as a laboratory head.  Although I haven't decided on what type of industry yet, for now my options are;  cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical.

I am lucky that people close to me work in drug analysis laboratories and I have been able to visit them on several occasions, so I more or less know what the ambient is like. For this type of work, different skills are needed, for example, analytical and error detection skills, organization, leadership, precision in analysis, initiative, willingness to work as a team, among many others.

Although a newly graduated chemist does not receive a very high salary, years of experience increase it considerably.
